Abstract Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS) is a genetic disease with dominant au- tosomic transmission, characterized by the development of hamar- tomatous polyps in the digestive tract, associated with muco-cutane- ous pigmentation. PJS is a serious condition that can be life threaten- ing due to the significant increase of cancer risk.
